In April 2022 I graduated from DigiPen Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Sound Design and am now embarking on my career. I have become proficient in Foley work, adding audio to visuals, interactive compositions for video games, and the early journey of blueprints and visual scripting in both UE4 and Unity. I have worked on multiple games while at school, notably Goodnight Lily and Cyrah’s Ascent, both of which are on Steam.
This past summer I have been able to have my third and final summer associateship under the Microsoft umbrella with 343 Industries helping with field recordings and iterating on new sound design for the upcoming maps and modes. I have become more comfortable using proprietary tools to be able to create audio tags, emitters, and markers within maps and the animation editor as well as become more familiar with Perforce.
I also had the pleasure of working at Turn 10 Studios with two previous summer associateships with them. Turn 10 makes the game Forza Motorsport and I'm very excited to hear all of the prototypes that I created in game when they release. At Turn 10 I specifically worked on accessibility features for low vision to blind players, and helped prototype cornering guidance, as well as enhancing the overall feel of the game. These features not only help low vision to blind players, but anyone who would like additional assistance. Accessibility features help cultivate a diverse set of tools that allows anyone to be able to customize the game to their liking, naturally enriching the game on a deeper level.
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a bit more about my recent endeavors!
